I'm Mandy Alfonsetti, a self-taught pastel and wildlife painter from Luxembourg. I've been painting for as long as I can remember, but I didn't really start painting with pastels until three years ago. Art helped me through a difficult period, which is why I decided to turn my hobby into my profession. And because I've been fascinated by the beauty of nature and the environment since childhood, these are now my main artistic subjects. Pastels, with their bright, vivid colours, are perfect for capturing life in all its splendour. A perfectly sharpened pencil is wishful thinking in this artistic medium. You have to take the colours as they come, just like the strokes you make on the paper. But that's exactly the lesson I've learnt: serenity and taking life as it comes, beautiful in its imperfection, just like the animal world.

Hiking Tour

4 nights with regional breakfast buffet, 4 three-course culinary menus, topographic map for walking-biking-MTB, with marked trails in the Natural Park, roadmap of Luxemburg with highlights, a "Klensch" glass with 2 refills of ½ liter of Diekirch beer, a T-shirt or buff of the house.
Arrival: Arrival on Sunday or Monday; offer not valid in high season, holidays, and bank holidays.
All-in: each menu with aperitif, matching wines, and coffee or tea "vum Séi": supplement: +120 €.

Supplement: Single use of a room, on weekends 33 € per night, and during the week 20 € per night.

This region, also known as l'Öesling, is also home to many fortresses and wild nature parks (Haute-Sûre and Our). A thousand-year-old history linked to the lords of that time, ardent knights of the Crusades, can be discovered through this priceless so well preserved historical heritage. We offer once a week a free guided tour with our mountain guides: from family walks to selected hiking tours, night and torch hikes.

Equipment Service

We can lend you hiking gear, such as sticks and backpacks, on availability and free of charge. Picnics for the road can be ordered the day before for an additional charge.
For groups, we can organise an adventure picnic in the forest with our Minerva Jeep 1952 or our Renault Colette ambulance 1954.

Walking taxi

We can organise the transfer to the departure point of your hiking tour on the trails in the region, even for those individually planned.
